Alamo Sixth Graders will be going to the Santa Cruz Mountains for Environmental School May 24 - May 28, 2009.  The cost for this Environmental School is approximately $300.00 per student which includes 4 nights lodging, meals, transportation and activities.  Your child's teacher is collecting the money, you may send in payments monthly if you wish.   A requirement of $100.00 by January ensures that your student will have a spot at Environmental School.  You can make monthly payments or send in the money all at once.  There will be a fundraiser available to help with the cost.

In order that ALL students have a positive experience, we are requiring that each stuent peacefully earns the right to go.  Students need to show positive, respectful behavior at school in the months prior to Environmental School. That way, the teachers know the students will show positive, respectful behavior the week the students are at Environmental School.   Students who have 3 negative infractons at Alamo will not earn the right to go.  Negative infractions include serious behavior , citations or suspensions.  The teachers want your child to have a wondeful experience.
